12th Annual NISO-BISG The Changing Standards Landscape Forum

NISO on the Road

Event Scope

At the National Ebook Summit held during ALA’s 2018 Annual Meeting, a number of themes provided structure for participants’ discussion of how best to connect users with ebooks.  Suggested areas for cross-sector collaboration included licensing models, accessibility, metrics, support for systems interoperability and issues associated with unobtainable materials.

Where does the community stand today in furthering a robust strategy for e-books? Where are emerging opportunities for the various stakeholders? Attend the twelfth NISO-BISG Changing Standards Landscape forum to hear from experts regarding the collaborative efforts intended to ensure that your patrons get connected to the ebook content they want!
