NISO Plus Conference Offers Opportunity: Sponsors Reflect Full Spectrum of Information Community

NISO Plus Conference Offers Opportunity

December 2019

By now, just about everyone knows that NISO Plus 2020 is going to be one of the most exciting events in the information industry calendar! The conference is expected to bring together more than 200 librarians, product managers, technologists, publishers, systems providers, and other stakeholders in Baltimore, February 23-25.

After a successful 60-plus year tradition of events, the NFAIS conference is being transformed into the new NISO Plus Conference. The NISO and NFAIS communities merged in 2019 with the goals of advancing understanding, efficiency, and thought leadership in the content creation, distribution, management, curation, and preservation communities. The intent behind the new NISO Plus Conference is to integrate the thought-leadership tradition of the well-established NFAIS conference with the hands-on practicality of NISO.

What’s the format? Engaging sessions on topics such as artificial intelligence, data publishing, discovery, altmetrics and more!  Who will be speaking? Representatives from such organizations as Ithaka/Jstor, Carnegie Mellon University, the American Chemical Society, and Silverchair.
