Hong Ma is the Head of Library Systems at Loyola University Chicago. She plans and provides oversight for the library's technology infrastructure (including all library systems, the library websites, and the institutional repository), and serve as lead administrator for library systems. Prior to Loyola, she was Information Systems Librarian for the University of Miami libraries. She is a regular writer and speaker on implementing technologies in user-centered library services. Her research interests focus on exploring technology’s role in optimizing library operations, finding common ground between library services and IT services to achieve in-depth collaboration between two units.
