Bob Fox has been the Dean, University Libraries at the University of Louisville since February 2011. Prior to that, he was Associate Dean for the Georgia Tech libraries from 2005-2011. He served as chair of the ARL Assessment Committee and as a member of the Libraries That Learn Design Team and the Governance Advisory Committee. He is a 2010 graduate of the ARL Leadership Fellows program and has served as a career coach/mentor to four fellows in ARL’s leadership and diversity programs. He has represented ARL nationally on the Assessment Conference planning committee and the ARL/ACRL/IPEDS Academic Library Survey Task Force. He currently serves on the ARL board of directors and previously served as president of the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries and the Georgia Library Association. He holds a BBA and MBA in finance from the University of Georgia and an MSLS from Clark Atlanta University.
