The Content Profile/Linked Document Standing Committee Is Seeking Volunteers

Content Profile/Linked Document (ANSI/NISO Z39.105-2023), an important standard addressing the need to support collaboration and interoperability of content and data between organizations, was published in December 2023. The project is now transitioning to its next phase with the creation of the CP/LD Standing Committee. NISO seeks volunteers with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including librarians, publishers, and vendors, to participate.

Building on the efforts of the CP/LD Working Group, Standing Committee members will promote and encourage the adoption of the Standard through outreach and education. They will also provide input into and feedback on proposals to amend, expand, or otherwise improve the Standard moving forward. The group will hold regular meetings, with workload to be determined by current outputs.
