The conference theme is this year's is "Keeping Knowledge Connected," and the program will be organized around three themes:
1. Strengthening Community: Energizing a global PID community collaborating across disciplines, sectors, and regions. 2. Addressing Challenges: Confronting barriers to PID adoption and sustainability. 3. Demonstrating Value: Showcasing tangible and potential benefits of PIDs for all stakeholders
Conference organizers want to hear from a mix of voices and experiences, and they welcome proposals from anyone who is using—or planning to use—PIDs, wherever you are on your PID journey. They’re aiming for a range of session formats, including short talks, panels, workshops, “birds of a feather” sessions, interactive presentations, lightning talks, and posters. If you have an idea that doesn’t fit neatly into one of these formats, they’d still love to hear about it.
The call for proposals is open through March 22. All submissions will then be anonymized and reviewed by the Program Committee, who aim to contact everyone about their decisions by April 30. There's a brief writing guide for proposals with ideas on how to pitch your session, and you can find more information about the conference and the call for proposals on the PIDfest website.
