NISO Plus Global Online 2026

Virtual Conference

What You'll Want to Know!

NISO Plus Global/Online, like its in-person Baltimore counterpart (held annually in February), brings stakeholders from across the information community together to explore shared challenges and identify potential solutions. Discussions will focus on generating ideas that could lead to future standards projects. (Previous NISO Plus conferences have led to our Communication of Retractions, Removals, and Expressions of Concern Recommended Practice, recently named a finalist for an SSP EPIC Award, and the recently announced formation of a working group on a recommended practice for trust markers.) For 2026, the NISO Plus Global/Online conference will carry forward some of the discussions and ideas from the February 2026 NISO Plus Baltimore meeting, especially those around emerging technologies and AI in scholarly communications.

The NISO Plus 2026–27 Planning Committee is currently at work on the meeting program and looks forward to releasing additional details this spring. Visit the NISO Plus website for updates on the meeting theme, program, and registration as well as sponsorship information.

Thank you to our sponsors, Cadmore Media, figshare, ASME, and Silverchair.
