Dariusz Jemielniak Announced as Final NISO Plus Keynote
The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) today announced that Dr. Dariusz Jemielniak will be the third keynote speaker at next year’s NISO Plus conference (February 15-17, 2022).
Dr. Jemielniak is a full professor of management, and the head of the MINDS (Management in Networked and Digital Societies) department at Kozminski University, Poland. In 2015, he was elected to the Wikimedia Foundation board of trustees; in 2019, he was elected to the Polish Academy of Sciences as the youngest member in social sciences and humanities in its history. He is also currently a faculty associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. Dr. Jemielniak’s work focuses on social data science and collaborative society, open collaboration projects (such as Wikipedia or F/LOSS), strategies of knowledge-intensive organizations, and virtual communities.
NISO Plus 2022 (February 15-17) is a digital-first, fully virtual global conference taking place across multiple time zones, with a focus on innovation, education, and conversation, which was attended by 850 people in 2021.
