Notice of NISO Annual Meeting, Saturday, June 23, 2018
NISO's annual members meeting will be held in New Orleans this June as part of the American Library Association Annual conference. The meeting, which is open to all, will be held as a part of the traditional NISO Update on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00–1:30 pm in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room 209. This half-hour discussion about the status of the organizations will be prepended to the regular program that takes place at every ALA conference. We will cover a number of organizational issues, such as NISO's strategic planning process, organizational finances, and standards program plans for the coming year. This is also an opportunity for the membership to provide feedback and have their questions answered about any organizational issue of concern. After the meeting, we will circulate the slides discussed during the session. If you aren’t able to join us and have any questions, NISO welcomes the opportunity to talk with you to address any concerns you may have.
