Assessment Practices and Metrics for the 21st Century
This forthcoming training series has the objective of providing a baseline of knowledge for information professionals in considering and applying assessment practices for scholarly resources across multiple information services and systems.
The program will consist of eight sessions, beginning with an overview of current assessment practices and ending with a discussion of new metrics that may be needed to properly measure and evaluate the library's service offerings.
The program is open to all. However, students are assumed to be conversant with the following:
Basic Statistical Analysis
Data Collection and Management
Established forms of reporting usage (COUNTER, SUSHI, etc.)
