Registration for the 2026 NISO Plus Conference in Baltimore Is Now Open

October 2025

We are thrilled to announce that the NISO Plus conference is returning to Baltimore, Maryland, from February 16–18, 2026 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.

We are planning two full days of sessions on February 17–18, including keynotes from information industry experts, plenty of opportunities for networking and problem solving, and sessions that focus on the needs of the community. We will also continue our tradition of the Miles Conrad Award and Lecture (this year's winner Is Alondra Nelson), as well as our other awards programs: the NISO Plus Scholarship program, the Ann Marie Cunningham Service Award, and the NISO Fellows awards.

On February 16, we will host two half-day pre-conference programs on artificial intelligence. The first, entitled "Keeping the Robots in Line" will address how to provision access to content for AI systems. The second, "Assessing AI Impact," will consider how best to measure usage of content by AI tools. Finally, NISO Plus will once again host JATS-Con, the Journal Article Tag Suite user's conference, as a full-day pre-conference. (If the JATS is your jam, the conference call for proposals is open through December 12!)

Our meeting program will be announced later this month. For the latest details on sessions, schedule, and speakers, visit the NISO Plus website. And in the meantime, remember to register early for the best rates—the early-bird deadline is January 14.
