Aj's journey in the technology industry began in 2010 at an assistive technology company, where he started in a testing role focused on evaluating software and hardware for quality and accessibility. Initially hired for just a day of ad-hoc testing through a friend's suggestion, Aj found himself captivated by the work and the company's inclusive culture, leading to an 11-year tenure. His passion for technology, however, dates back to his early years. Despite facing challenges due to his visual impairment, he was driven by a deep curiosity about how things work. Aj would often disassemble electronics like TVs, experimenting to improve their functionality, including creating a makeshift surround sound system—an innovative endeavor at the time.

Aj's engagement with technology grew as speech technology became more mainstream, opening up new possibilities for people with visual impairments. He embraced these advances, spending countless hours testing software, breaking and fixing systems to understand their inner workings. His expertise evolved from testing to technical support, where he assisted customers and eventually became a head trainer. Throughout his career, Aj has leveraged his technical skills and personal passion for technology to contribute significantly to his team's success and the development of accessible solutions for all.
