Dan Connor is an associate editor, a manager, and the senior index editor of Iberian and Latin American literatures for the MLA International Bibliography, a trusted tool for research in literature, language, film, folklore, and beyond. Dan leads and contributes to many activities and initiatives for the Bibliography and the MLA at large, including editorial and project management, content creation and translation, research and strategic planning, and outreach and program development. A multilingual professional with over two decades of experience in academic, reference, and trade publishing and marketing, Dan joined the MLAIB in 2002 as an indexer and has since played a critical role in the Bibliography's evolution. He earned a master’s degree in Spanish from Georgetown University, a bachelor’s in Spanish and English from Fordham University, and certificates in Hispanic studies and publishing from the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) and the University of Chicago, respectively.
