Michelle Chouteau is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma (Cheyenne) and a descendant of the Kaw Nation.  Michelle graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 with an MLIS (Master of Library and Information Studies) degree.  Since 2004, Michelle has served as an information professional working in archives, special collections, public libraries, and other cultural institutions.  She is currently serving as the Collection Manager and Registrar at the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.
