Mike Showalter is Executive Director, End-User Services at OCLC, where he leads product management for the company's discovery products. Prior to OCLC he was Product Manager for Plum Analytics, where he is helped pioneer the development of new ways to measure the impact of scholarly research. He previously spent six years over two stints at ProQuest's Serials Solutions business unit, ending his time there as Director of Product Management for Discovery. Showalter received a BA in History from San Jose State University in 1988, and then earned his Master of Librarianship from the University of Washington's Graduate School of Library and Information Science in 1992.
