Paulomi Majumder is an Associate Publisher at the American Chemical Society’s (ACS) Publications division. In this role, Paulomi oversees and leads the strategy of journals in the materials science portfolio of ACS Publications. Paulomi works with editors, authors, reviewers, and other members of the scientific community to identify and implement efforts towards the success of ACS Publications. Paulomi also serves as a member of the ACS Publications DEIR working group that focuses on advancing various DEIR-related goals as part of the editorial roadmap for ACS journals and has participated in preparation of the annual ACS Diversity Data Report. This Report promotes transparency regarding representation in scholarly publishing and supports development of strategy designed to continually increase demographic diversity amongst individuals involved in ACS journal communities.
Paulomi has been with ACS Publications for more than a decade and previously worked with IOP Publications. Paulomi holds Bachelor and Doctoral degrees in Applied Physics and Materials Science.
