The Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT), recently formalized as an ANSI/NISO standard, provides 14 roles for specifying contributions to scholarly publications. To help us further develop this work, we invite you to register for two virtual CRediT persona development workshops on Thursday, September 29 (9am ET, 2pm BST), and Friday, September 30 (11:30am ET, 4:30pm BST).
These workshops are open to everyone with an interest in CRediT, and will expand previous exploratory work on personas for the roles. Each workshop will explore seven of the 14 roles, in breakout sessions led by experts on each role, who will moderate the discussion.
Registration is free, and you are welcome to join one or both workshops:
September 29: Funding acquisition, Investigation, Resources, Supervision, Validation, Writing - Original draft, and Writing - Review & editing
September 30: Conceptualization, Data Curation, Formal analysis, Methodology, Project administration, Software, and Visualization
Find out more about the workshop format and let us know which roles you would like to explore (please note that you must register separately for each day you wish to attend).
The CRediT persona project is supported by a Mission Advancement Award from the Northwestern University Department of Preventive Medicine and the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (UL1TR001422).
